Case Results
Aggravated DUI
A St. Charles County man was charged with aggravated DUI and was facing 8 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. After lengthy negotiations with the prosecutor, Mr. Combs was able to get the charge amended to a lower level felony and the client served 60 days.
2nd Degree Murder
St. Louis County man charged with Murder in the second degree after another man died in St. Louis County bar and grill, after an extensive review of the evidence Mr. Combs got the charges reduced and our client received probation, 2 weeks’ time served, and 60 days house arrest.
Delivery of a Controlled Substance
A man traveling from out of state with his son and his son’s friend was stopped on the highway in Cooper County and found to have an excessive amount of marijuana that was purchased in a State where it was legal. Mr. Combs reviewed the evidence with painstaking detail, drafted a motion to suppress evidence believing there was no probable cause for the traffic stop and thus the evidence (marijuana) should be thrown out. After lengthy negotiations with the prosecuting attorney and discussing the motion to suppress, Mr. Combs was able to get his client’s son’s case dismissed along with the other passenger and the client went from looking at 2 years in Missouri Department of Corrections to 45 days shock time.
Felony Hit & Run
A St. Louis city man jumps curb, flips his car and hits 2 pedestrians injuring them both. The circuit attorney’s office alleged the man was driving while intoxicated, after extensive plea negotiations our client received probation with no felony conviction and no jail time.
Felony Possession Firearm
A St. Louis County man was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, the client had an extensive federal criminal history, after negotiations with the prosecuting attorney our client received probation and 60 days house arrest.
Indecent Exposure
A St. Louis City man while looking for apartments to rent exposed himself to a realtor. The client was looking at having to register as sex offender and a felony conviction. Mr. Combs was able to secure probation, no felony conviction, and no sex offender registration.
Possession With Intent
A St. Louis County man pulled over during a traffic stop was found to have in his possession a large amount of THC vape pens. The client was looking at possession with intent to distribute, a class B felony. Mr. Combs was able to keep the case in municipal court, as opposed to state court, where client paid a minor fine for littering.
Felony Drug Manufacturing
St. Louis County man was caught in possession of a slab of THC wax and was charged with attempting to sell/manufacture a controlled substance. Mr. Combs was able to get the charges reduced to littering with a fine.
Felony Drug Possession
A St. Louis City man charged with possession of heroin, Mr. Combs drafted and filed a motion to suppress evidence based upon lack of probable cause, the Judge agreed with Mr. Combs’ argument and suppressed all evidence, forcing the state to dismiss the case.
Child Endangerment
A St. Louis County woman learned 2 years after moving out of state she had 8 charges in Missouri including, but not limited to, child endangerment, multiple driving while suspended, and other charges. After plea negotiations, Mr. Combs was able to get 5 of the 8 charges dropped and the remaining 3 reduced to littering with fines.
2nd Degree Domestic Assault
A St. Louis County man was charged with domestic assault in the second degree, a class C felony. While the case was pending, the client was charged with kidnapping in the second degree and another count of domestic assault. After a comprehensive review of the evidence and plea negotiations, Mr. Combs was able to secure a dismissal for the kidnapping and domestic assault and the client received probation on original charges.
Felony Marijuana Possession
A Montgomery County man stopped while traveling from Colorado to Atlanta, GA was accused of felony marijuana possession. After an extensive review of discovery material, Mr. Combs was able to secure a complete dismissal of all charges.
Felony DWI/DUI
A St. Louis County man charged with felony DWI/DUI because of multiple arrests in his past. After lengthy plea negotiations, Mr. Combs was able to get the charged reduced to a misdemeanor.

A Pike County man charged with Assault in the first degree following a stabbing at a New Year’s Eve farm party, the client insisted self-defense. After not getting a favorable plea deal from the prosecuting attorney Mr. Combs argued self-defense and secured an acquittal.

A St. Louis County man was charged with drug trafficking after he was found with 67 pounds of marijuana in a local hotel. After plea negotiations, Mr. Combs was able to get the case dismissed.
