The Combs Law Group St. Louis personal injury paralegal

Josue was born in Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula. He moved with his family shortly thereafter and settled in Franklin County, Missouri. Growing up, Josue has always been a passionate learner with motivation to grow. He attended Washington Elementary and Washington Middle School for his early education. He subsequently transferred to St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington so he could grow his faith within an educational setting. At Borgia, he was given many opportunities including being able to study abroad for a year in Germany. Josue was quickly able to adapt in this new environment and became fluent in German. That experience taught him invaluable lessons to prepare him for the journey after high school. Now fluent in three languages (Spanish and English, as well as German), Josue enrolled at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, majoring in Economics and minoring in Information Systems. He has made the Dean’s List every semester he has been enrolled. In addition, Josue completed the UMSL Advanced Leaders Program and is a member of the National Society for Leadership and Success. Upon graduating, he plans on attending law school to pursue his dream of becoming an immigration attorney.

In May of 2020, Josue was given the opportunity to work at Combs Law Group due to a sudden departure of a staff member as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. His strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly paid off. More impressively, he has been able to work and attend school full-time, balancing both worlds seamlessly. From calling court clerks to drafting motions, Josue has been a reliable, solid paralegal who will make for an excellent lawyer in the future.
